After finishing my work meeting in Lisbon, my wife and I rented a car and drove down to the south of Portugal to explore the Algarve region. And made this hotel our base. It is pretty much western and southern most point of continental Europe. And of the rare places where you can see both a sunset and sunrise looking out to the sea (not the same direction, obviously).
We got upgraded to a full suite but without seaview, pity. A seaview room would have been spectacular with a view of the coast, lighthouse, cliffs and/or the marina.
Having said that, the accommodations themselves were quite good. Large living room

A decent bedroom

The facilities in terms of sockets and connections etc were a bit lacking but we were still able to plug everything in by unplugging some stuff.
The kitchen was also quite useful and functional

The bathroom was also large but the shower (though large) didn't have a door, allowing water to escape. The sink was large and at the right height, making it quite suitable for making wudu.
The shag carpet in the living room facilitated praying on the floor for my tired knees. The bathroom was in the living area, allowing its use without disturbing the partner. Or it would have been had the door to the bedroom been fully functional. Turns out the door struggled to close over the carpet there and was noisy even if we moved the carpet.
There were two pools: indoor and outdoor. Both were quite popular but we ended up not using either. The grounds were quite good with great views of the sea (the Atlantic). The workout facility was also pretty good.
